Expand and simplify parallelisation of processes

Current situation and requested solution

There are currently execute_commands_parallel and getoutput_commands_parallel that do not support various features

To be done after

• implement changes where needed

Steps

• submit command from different folder
• store output in file
• unify execute and getoutput
• improve documentation
• allow spawn of shell commands as well as python functions
