I don't see a new release?

*Question*
I really really really like this keyboard and want to use it as a daily driver. But one thing drives me nuts.
When I start typing a word, especially a long one, most keyboards will recognize and put it on the suggestions quickly so I can just give it a tap.
But this one often doesn't have my word at all, only possible alternatives. I can understand the thought behind that choice, more space for alternatives, but I would appreciate the option to toggle that behavior.
I searched through the settings, but couldn't find anything. Did I miss something? If not, I'd like to request that toggle when an opportunity arises to take a look at it.

Looks good, and the behavior seems better. The currently typed word is showing up much better, thanks.
Side question - I can't find the setting to turn off "return to main keyboard after selecting previously used emoji".
In other words, I go to the emoji and want to hit three laughing emoji because something is really funny. When I pick an emoji from the 'previously used' line on top of the keyboard, that line disappears and I have to go back to the main keyboard, then back into the emoji keyboard to add another laughing emoji, then do it all over again for the third one.
Am I missing a setting, or would it be an enhancement request to keep that history selection line up for multiple choices?

Okay, got 3.7.8 installed and the 'previously used' emoji still switches to the 'greyed out suggestions' bar after selecting one emoji. Did a force stop on Leantype, cleared cache, and rebooted just for good measure. Still the same.

Okay, check this. Settings/toolbar/split toolbar. That gives you my 'previously selected' bar. That's the one that drops after the first selection.
But now that we know this I could turn off the split toolbar as a workaround so you can fix more important stuff. It just drastically limits the number of suggestions that show 🤷🏻♂️

Since it was working for me(def config), there could be an config/toggle conflicting with emoji behaviour, since offline lite have diff package name ,you can try it without uninstalling standard version

Okay, this is bizarre. NOW when I hit emojis I get (see the attachment) and it *doesn't* go away when I select one. Can't explain it, only change was installing and uninstalling that other keyboard you asked me to check.
Extra detail: if I select from the top row, it *does* go to the grayed out bar; if I select from the bottom group, it doesn't.

Yeah, since it's okay for me now for whatever reason, low priority unless someone else sees it. Really appreciate your work, checking out your other stuff too.
Lwidget looks really good, tried it out but I've already got everything covered that it does. Leanbook looks promising too, would be good if it can be shared, like I could have the wife add something to a shopping list and I'd see it on my phone. I'm sure that would be a lot of fun to code 😏

*leanbook is in alpha stage,*
* currently its fully offline, thats one of the reason why sync wont work
* another thing is we needed an server to sync the shopping list
* alternative option were tasks org just like lwidget, (lwidget is fully offline too)
* if tasker integrated we could have cloud backup+shared list
* cons : tasks org cloud isnt free, it have free microsoft todo and google task integration but then both user needed to use same google/microsoft account to make it sync
* another option would be allowing the leanbook to have internet access and make it to sync with something

Okay, just discovered something really good by accident.
If you're in the emojis, you know how you can swipe and go from faces to hand gestures to animals, etc? And how the indicators above show you what section you're in?
If you're in the first section, faces, and you swipe to the right, it drops you into history! No indicator, no list in the menu, nothing to tell you that section is available, it just shows up.
You're a dev and you might have known this already, but I've been a phone geek for decades and haven't seen this before. Just letting you know in case anyone has the same kind of hassle that I did with the emoji menus.
