SLiMgui top-right widgets misaligned on Ubuntu 24.04 / Qt 6.4.2

I installed SLiM / SLiMgui using the DebianUbuntuInstall.sh script and the widgets appear misaligned in the top right. I played around with QT_SCALE_FACTOR and QT_FONT_DPI, as suggested in section 2.7 of the manual, to no success. The same issue previously occurred for me on Ubuntu WSL on a different machine.

Hmm. It looks like the root problem, perhaps, is that it has allocated too much horizontal space for the play controls. I'm not sure why that would happen. This might be a bug in Qt, but even if it is I might be able to find a workaround. Might be related to Wayland. Qt seems to generally have sizing/layout issues on non-macOS platforms. It might be that my whole approach to handling high-DPI displays is incorrect. The documentation on this in Qt is abysmal, and it's hard to debug since I don't have a machine to work on this (I develop on macOS). So I'm going to mark this long-term, because I don't know how to approach it for now.
