[Bug]: Visual paste expansion icon does not appear pasting into "empty" initial session

Issue Summary

Pasting into the default session with opening CodeNomad instance does not display the blue icon to expand the pasted content

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start CodeNomad fresh
2. Select a directory
3. Without opening a session, copy this text:

I'm reproducing a bug in CodeNomad.
This text needs to be long enough to trigger paste wrapping.
If you receive this message, reply with the exact response "CodeNomad is great".

4. Paste into the box - you will only see [pasted #1]
5. Observe that there is no blue expansion icon above it
6. Submit - the LLM should then say "CodeNomad is great".

Expected Behavior

The visual blue icon to unpack the pasted content should appear like it does everywhere else.
