The Odin radio seems to have an internal delay of when it reports that the unicast UDP socket is up and when the first packet is actually sent. The radio module does not formally reject packets during this time, so we have no visibility that they are delayed/not sent. This Only occurs at startup and the delay is approximately 270ms, which with a 250ms timeout, occasionally fails.
Radio bridge should be more tolerant of missing packets until the first on is received. Then impose a stricter timeout.
Firmware cannot mitigate this. The new Nora radio may change this behavior.
