Image and icon references remain even though media assets are omitted

Many Markdown files still contain image and icon references.

Example:
markdown/better-together/using-ham-for-esg.md includes repeated omitted icon references:

On the mentioned page, this would make far more sense, as the icon link adds no additional information past what's available from Yes/No.

For other image references, it may be useful to keep absolute references to hosted files.

Currently we don't have a separate hosting location for the images--they're available on the doc site obviously but that's not really usable as a separate CDN for images.

We distinguish between "decorative" and informative images in our source so I can omit references to decorative images entirely and at least retain something that indicates an image is used and what it's alternative text is.
