No signs of life on Yosemite/S2/4.0.4

I followed the directions: install the september 2014 release on Yosemite, run the app, enter the code on my S2 and nada. Does not indicate a subscribe event on app. No signs of connection from the Pebble app. No control of iTunes (the only one of the 4 apps I have) exerted. Just nothing. Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic Touch with Android 4.0.4, Mac Book Pro 13-inch running Mac OSX 10.8.5

Can you confirm that you are using the code given to you in the dropdown window of SimonRemote? I haven't had any specific issues related to Yosemite with the newest version. If you haven't updated, just restart your client, it should automatically update.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure you enable SimonRemote in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Accessibility -> SimonRemote.app

Same issue for me even with the app being enabled in Accessibility. That being said, I do see the process running (ps -ef | grep Simon), just not any life anywhere else.

WFM on Yosemite 10.10.1 / iPhone 5s iOS 8.1.2. Never had any problems.

You're gonna laugh. I thought it was totally busted on Yosemite too, but I noticed it running in Activity Monitor even though there was no Menu Bar icon... then I thought to click in the blank space next to my last Menu Bar item and sure enough there it was.

The problem for me is simply that I'm using dark Menu Bar mode on Yosemite and the app doesn't have a white icon variant so it's invisible ;) If the dev could make it visible in dark mode that would be fab. For now, we can just click in the blank space.
