Root-caused and fixed in 9d32d5e, shipping in v1.36.0.

Viewport queues setTimeout(() => this.syncScrollArea()) in its constructor during
term.open() and never cancels it. syncScrollArea reads RenderService.dimensions,
… [16 lines elided] …
term.dispose() for the _isDisposed teardown race (issue #16) is still there; it
never helped here, because this throw was never on our stack to catch.

Fixed and shipped in v1.36.0 (all platform installers now attached, including the Windows .exe and latest.yml).

The fix is the deferred-dispose + mount-token guard in TerminalPane.tsx: our own term.dispose() is delayed by TERMINAL_DISPOSE_DELAY_MS = 50, and a remount inside that window re-claims the instance via terminalOwners instead of letting the old cleanup tear it down.

Deliberately 50 ms and not 0: term.open() frequently runs at a timer nesting depth where the browser clamps a 0 ms timeout to 4 ms, so a 0 ms defer scheduled after xterm's own syncScrollArea timer could still lose the race.

Closing. Reopen if Sentry sees this signature again on 1.36.0 or later — that would mean a second, distinct path into the same getter, not a regression of this one.
