I've enabled the Facebook Apps (Beta) list on both my Mac app and iOS app. The behaviour is not the same though. I noticed that because I can use my WhatsApp normally on iPhone with this list turned on, but on macOS my WhatsApp desktop app is not working when this list is enabled.
Personally I don't use Facebook at all and I would like to keep that list turned on, but I'm using WhatsApp on both of my devices and right now I need to turn it off on macOS. I like the behaviour on iOS that is allowing WhatsApp to be used even if the list is turned on, and I consider it ok, as it's blocking all the other Facebook related domains.
