Select some links and try to copy the links to the clipboard. This works sometimes, but very often it does not work. In the developer console this error is shown, if it does not work:
Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Clipboard write was blocked due to lack of user activation.

Possible solution:
This addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/copy-link-and-text/ has the additional permission "Input data to the clipboard" and has no DOMException.

Interesting... I was intentionally injecting a script into the DOM to write to the clipboard to avoid requesting this permission. But the error you are seeing in the console probably means the browser is detecting this behavior and blocking it.

I will see if I can re-produce this somehow and come up with a solution that does not require the permission. If not I will at least add this as an Optional Permission that users can grant after installation (like host permissions work now).
