Bug Description

I restored my playnite backup and my previously downloaded logo don't get restored, upon library update all the games were tagged as "[EMT] Logo missing" yet logo were not auto downloading for these games.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce add a game to palynite logo auto downloaded logo deleted or a backup is restored games taged as logo missing yet logo were not auto downloaded.

I cant find extension logs, it not a crashing issue so extension log may not required right?

If I understand correctly, you made a backup using its built-in feature and restored it in Main menu -> Library -> Restore Library data? If so, I'm afraid it's because your logos did not get restored. The reason is that the extension downloaded logos and videos are not placed in the directories that Playnite backups and restores. This decision is because thousands of logos and videos will cause backups to rapidly eats dozens, if not hundreds of Gigabytes of storage only in backups and also cause Playnite to hang for minutes each time it creates a backup until it finishes.

Additionally just to clarify, logos are only automatically downloaded for newly added games. so if you want to redownload logos for all games, you need to select them all (With Ctrl+A) and start a redownload from right click menu.

Is that so I thought the tag option is there for situation like this where if some logo got deleted or don't get restored which is by design missing tag will trigger a re download, thanks for giving the work around, really appreciate it.
