Plans to allow matplotlib >= 3.9?

Hello

I'm working on updating the build recipe for pyGenomeTracks in Easybuild, for installation on HPC clusters.

Just wondering whether you plan to update it to work with matplotlib >= 3.9?
Our recent toolchains default to 3.9.2 or newer.

Would be useful to know your plans, then I can decide how best to handle this in EasyBuild.

In case this helps, for a local install at UPPMAX of pyGenomeTracks 3.9 with foss-2024a I've loosened the requirements to matplotlib 3.9.2 and its output matches the examples. I can send the easyconfig if you'd like, the relevant change is:

Great thank you. I think for the next release we will not pin matplotlib it will be easier.
