Requirement attributes not inheriting String or Enumeration

Hi,
New SysON/SysML 2.0 user here.
I am currently having trouble with not being able to input String and Enumerations into Requirement Usage attributes.
Please refer to the attached screenshots.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Thank you for using SysON.
Inherited attributes are not currently editable in SysON.
If you want to redefine or subset an inherited attribute, just create a new one first, then edit it.

In your example, it would be something like:

1. create a new attribute in the attributes compartment of REQ-001
2. edit it : attribute1 :>> rationale or attribute1 :> rationale

Where do I enter the value (String) for attribute1 though?

After selected attribute1 in the diagram, just press F2 or start editing, and type = "my string value" for example (see https://doc.mbse-syson.org/syson/v2026.3.0/user-manual/hands-on/how-tos/model-management.html#direct-edit for more details)
