tl;dr — The platform is being actively rebuilt (codename v2). The site at mcpanalytics.ai stays live behind a beta banner during this period so we can test the flow end-to-end. Some features are incomplete or unstable. Signup is open — you can try what works — but expect rough edges until v2 ships.
Why a rebuild
The first release got us to a working end-to-end flow (discovery → upload → analysis → interactive report) and validated the core product. v2 is a rewrite of the parts we learned we couldn't carry forward:
- Discovery layer — better module selection, fewer wrong matches
- Module runtime — more reliable R execution, cleaner error surfacing
- Report rendering pipeline — consistent card rendering, faster load
- Connector framework — foundation for the Shopify / Stripe / Postgres connectors that keep getting requested
What's stable right now
What's known-rough during v2
- Some modules may fail with unclear errors — we're reworking the error surface
- New connectors (Shopify, Stripe live) are not yet wired in
- PDF export (#4) is disabled pending the render rewrite
- Agent Advisor responses may be inconsistent while the discovery layer changes
If you filed an issue
Issues #1 (Shopify connector), #2 (Stripe connector), and #4 (PDF export) are all part of v2 scope. We'll post updates on the individual issues as each lands, and close them when they ship in a stable release.
