a maintainer in Mumbai, a student in São Paulo,
all knocking on the same wide-open door.
Someone opens an issue at 2 AM,
a bug they hit, a fix they'll never need to ship —
but six pull requests bloom by morning light,
a gift from strangers on a fellowship trip.
The README says "all contributions welcome" —
they mean it, and somehow it still holds true.
The CHANGELOG is a love letter to the future,
signed by a hundred names you never knew.
So here's to the fork, the star ⭐, the midnight commit,
the review that said "nice work" and meant it most.
Open source is not just code in a repo —
it's people choosing to care, coast to coast. 🌍
Inspired by the quiet miracle that strangers, bound only by shared curiosity, keep building things that outlast any single company or career.
