Hi @jackfrued,
Foremost, thank you for creating Python-100-Days. It's an outstanding resource, and the day-by-day structure makes it one of the clearest learning paths for Python I've come across.
I've started a community project to translate this course into French, so it can reach French-speaking learners who don't read Chinese: https://github.com/vidjinnangni/python-100-days-fr.
A few things I want to be transparent about from the start:
- This is an unofficial, community-driven translation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by you.
- Every page clearly credits you as the original author, with a link back to this repository.
- I noticed this repository doesn't include an explicit LICENSE file, so by default all rights remain yours. I wanted to flag this project to you directly rather than assume it's fine.
- Only the explanatory text, comments, and file names are being translated — the code examples themselves stay technically identical to the original.
I'd like to ask:
- Are you comfortable with a French translation being published this way, with attribution and a link back here?
- Would you prefer any specific wording, disclaimer, or credit format?
- Would you be interested in linking to the French version from your README once it has meaningful content, for French-speaking readers?
Happy to adjust anything based on your preferences, or to take the project down if you'd rather not have it exist. Thanks again for the amazing work.
