Reconciliation pass — findings & a recommended workflow

Did a full audit of the ~250 editor sketches vs the GitHub examples to figure out the source-of-truth question. Summary below; raw data was pulled from the editor's public projects endpoint (returns full sketch source, not just metadata):

Recommended model (source of truth)

• GitHub = source of truth + long-term archive for the curated teaching examples. In every case checked, the repo folder is the more-developed copy (reorganized into assets/+css/, recommented, accessibility added, CDN-pinned).
• p5 editor = live teaching / sharing surface + staging ground for new content.
• The job is not "sync all 250." It's "promote the keepers into GitHub; leave throwaways in the editor."

Housekeeping done

Removed 19 stale .zip editor-exports that were committed to the repo (Nov-2020 quick archives, ~20MB, each bundling full p5/ml5 copies). All were redundant — 6 superseded by their evolved repo folders, 13 still live in the editor account. (commit removing them references this issue.)

Suggested next step

Walk the promotion-candidate list, and for each keeper: create a clean repo folder from the editor copy (strip bundled libs → pinned CDN, add assets/+css/, give it a real <title> so the gallery picks it up). Everything else stays in the editor by design.
