Modrinth App
Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.
So I don't know if you would put this inside modrinth app but what if you make something like this "https://github.com/modrinth/oracle" but put one that scans for a lot of malware inside modrinth app. It could scan for malware when you put something in (just in case the server missed something) or what I was going to say, with a opt in (for security) it can be running while you have mc open with mods and scan for anything a mod is doing and eg quarantine it. It could be good for getting people to use modrinth app just more mods they downloaded and make sure that nothing like this happens again (as far as I can tell you can second uploads with a quicker ai as when I put my mod on Curseforge, it always goes to manual review which is sometimes annoying but with this, its another safety thing)
Describe the solution you'd like
you could just scan for malicious patterns or see what's its doing in real time.
Describe alternatives you've considered
To just lock down mods to only specific folders and file paths.
