PBR, or Physically Based Rendering, is a powerful graphics rendering technique that simulates the natural optical properties (reflectance, translucency, depth, etc.) of various materials. It is packaged in formal standards used in thousands of applications, like video games, movie production, scientific research, and engineering.
Iris, the modern engine for shader pack development and compatibility, supports two PBR standards called labPBR and seusPBR. These standards give resource pack artists exact control over how a material in their resource pack should behave under certain lighting conditions. Resource pack artists commonly utilize these these PBR standards, but are currently unable to label their resource packs as having any form of PBR support (in the same way that they can specify its resolution or version support) as there does not yet exist a project tag/filter for it.
Describe the solution you'd like
I believe Modrinth should add a PBR tag (or both a labPBR and seusPBR tag if you'd like to go that far) to allow resource pack designers to highlight this feature in their own projects, giving greater visibility to PBR resource packs and making the process of searching for them more streamlined.
