I wanted to check if the character equals to delimeter but there is such an error. It has to compile correct and I checked it.

UPD: the problem occurs regardless of the programming language only when use $. Mb problem with parsing.

I got a similar error.

The issue seems to be with the '$' character. If you use any other delimiter like '#' or '%' it works fine for me.

I was initially using the dollar sign and couldn't for the life of me figure out why i was getting so many syntax errors. Until i change the character lol

Yes, I also used another character as delimeter and it worked. It's quite interesting why the problem is only with $ regardless of the programming language?
