Pip ignores bind-mounted Python packages if their version is older than what's installed?

  • Yes ->
    • find a way to make sure that pip always prefers the bind-mounted version of the package. Perhaps that's a pip flag?
    • update https://docs.tutor.overhang.io/dev.html#xblock-and-edx-platform-plugin-development
    • update feat: auto-mount edx-platform python requirements overhangio/tutor#915 (or if that PR has already merged, update the pip install -e .. section in the Dockerfile)
