GSKIT not being installed to PS2DEV folder

Basically, what the title says, the environment is defined correctly

./.bash_profile

export PS2DEV=/usr/local/ps2dev
export PS2SDK=$PS2DEV/ps2sdk
export GSKIT=$PS2DEV/gsKit
export PATH=$PATH:$PS2DEV/bin:$PS2DEV/ee/bin:$PS2DEV/iop/bin:$PS2DEV/dvp/bin:$PS2SDK/bin

However, if i do
ls $GSKIT, it says that the directory is not installed

Getting this issue too, I feel like trying to develop for the PS2 is a lost cause at this point.

There seems to have been only 1 major change to the Makefile since 2016, which is the swap to CMake. But the installation paths look equivalent.

In OP's video, he does not seem to show how the environment variables are set on the right terminal. It is clearly correct on the left, but the right terminal shows GSKIT=$PS2SDK/gsKit instead of $PS2DEV/gsKit

Perhaps you may want to check that you set GSKIT correctly? You can check by doing this before running the Make command:

echo $GSKIT
