In Active Prelude, the 'Score: 0/1' text does not update as students complete the Preview Activities (which were created in Doenet).
The system is keeping track: the score is updated in the gradebook, and if you leave the activity and return to it.
The scores do update in the WebWork exercises at the end of each section.
What solution would you like?
I would like that the scores update in the Doenet exercises the same way they do in the WebWork exercises. A 'Submit' button would be nice, too, so that the workflow from the student point-of-view is the same as the with the WebWork exercises.
What alternatives have you considered?
I have told my students that their scores are indeed being tracked, that they can see them on the assignments page, and that if they return to the assignment they will see the score where expected.
