I'm Michael Gasperini, a software engineer and AI/product builder behind TheStreamCode and the founder of Mikesoft.

For more than ten years, I have worked across product thinking, design, engineering, and delivery. I am not tied to one platform or a narrow role: I learn the domain, choose the right tools, and carry useful ideas through to working, maintainable software.

Open source is where I share part of that work with a wider community. My projects span developer experience, AI-assisted workflows, automation, local-first applications, web and mobile products, and practical software for businesses and professionals.

Recent examples include:

• Super CLI and cross-platform VS Code tooling for AI coding agents;
• the Chutes developer ecosystem, including coding, model, media, usage, and integration tools;
• Agentic R&D and MCP projects for structured, safer AI-assisted work;
• privacy-aware products such as Keysoft and Mikesoft TeamVault;
• practical business software such as EasyPIVA.

These are examples of what I have built, not the limits of what I can build. I am always interested in new domains, unfamiliar systems, and useful problems worth solving well.

What sponsorship makes possible

That time goes toward:

Professional collaboration

Alongside open source, I am open to full-time roles, long-term collaborations, freelance projects, product partnerships, consulting, and other remote, async-first opportunities.
