Metalfab

Hello, I was sent here from the BassXT repo, I have added my Metalfab to this integration and here are some issues I have found so far.

I am on the latest integration release (2.3.0) and latest xtool firmware (40.70.013.00.ht4)

Controls:
all controls seem to display a variation of "Failed to perform the action button/press. V2 PUT /v1/device/configs returned code 1: failed" when used

Sensors:

• Cover and Drawer states are inverted
• Cooling fan, exhaust fan, and task time are Unknown
• Laser position Z is always 0

Diagnostic

• Air-Assist connected, Gyro X, Gyro Y, Gyro Z, Laser module runtime, Last job time, Print tool type, Session count, Standby time, Working time are Unknown
• Last button event is displacing "SHOERT_PRESS:1", I'm guessing this is a misspelling on their end as I have seen many while investigating the API.

I have similar things missing on a F1 Ultra, so I figure its a problem on more than just the metalfab.

Hello @unex, thanks for testing!
The V2 protocol indeed contains several bugs and also several differences between different devices, all of which must be handled by the integration.
I've just pushed v2.3.2 which should fix some of your issues, for the rest I'll need debug logs.

v2.3.3 should fixe the returned code 1: failed on button presses. Turned out that the protocol expects 1/0 instead of true/false.

The cover and drawer inversion is just when they are open they show closed and vise versa.

Thanks for the detailed logs! They've provided some valuable insights. Hopefully, all the bugs have been fixed now. I'm just not entirely sure about the drawer/cover. I had actually flipped the states in the last release, but you mentioned they were still reversed, so I've flipped them back again.

My bad, I didn't realize you flipped the drawer/cover, I just double checked and it is correct on 2.3.4. They are currently backwards on 2.4.1
