Additional maintainers

Hello!

I work at a company that uses this project as well as Finagle and we are interested in seeing if it is a possibility for us to contribute back as maintainers. We use it in production systems and would be able to provide early feedback on changes.

How could we proceed?

Thanks for your offer! I'm definitely open to it—we could definitely use the help—but before giving maintainer privileges to someone, I like to see a history of contributions to the project, both from a technical perspective and also to understand their working style.

To that end, if you have specific changes you'd like to see made, feel free to make pull requests or open issues. If you'd like to help keep things up to date (which we're definitely behind on, I know), I think the first step is to make progress on #607, so it would be super helpful to get feedback on the concept and implementation proposed there.
