Why is hyprland STILL not packaged?

i would fully switch to void if hyprland was in the repos, but it just... isn't. I looked up why and the only reason i found was "we are not interested" like... what? It would be nice to know the actual reason, not just "nah we don't want it"

if the only reason for not packaging hyprland is that there is no one to package hyprland i would love to package and maintain it

i guess it means basically nothing have changed since then... btw there is a void repo fork that took the responsibility/hardships/whatever with enough motivation to do so, which has hyprland as its "raison d'être"...

void: you really have everything that the staff have, all can be managed by anyone but u can get help, it is flexible enough to do whatever u want... @Duncaen maintains a sytemd fork for example beyond reason, but he can...

void staff: i saw them enough times in social situations that can hurt and requires extraordinary patience, and they took all of them very well! i only saw some cases that needed more info after action, but i see how hard it is even just to follow what they work on, and what u get is an excellent common ground for whatever u can dream about, and the other half of the interwebz too with basically everything that could hurt without help/tooling/compiling/whatever... dont hurt them, they dont deserve it!
