GSU Public Python Packages

Below is a list of Python packages developed and maintained by the GSU Analytics team. These packages are publicly available on GitHub. Contributions and feedback are welcome! Contact ikerson@gsu.edu for more information.

• lightoracle
  A lightweight Oracle database connection handler for managing secure database interactions.

• slate_connect
  Connect and interact seamlessly with the Slate API using the SlateConnect Python package.

• mainstay_connect
  An interface for connecting to and querying a Slate CRM database using SQLAlchemy and pandas.

• EducationDataAPI
  A Python client for accessing and analyzing educational data from the Urban Institute's Education Data Portal.

• NCESchools
  A package to search and extract school details from the NCES website.
