Hi, I’m Jacob 👋
I’m a Biomedical Science student at the University of Bath, currently working at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology. Outside of research, I spend a lot of time building open-source software tools for the scientific community. I’m currently developing VizModules, an interactivity-first Shiny module framework that lets developers rapidly build publication-ready, interactive visualizations with minimal code. On top of that, I’m building sciVizModules, a domain-specific extension of VizModules that brings specialized interactive plot types to biological, chemical, and physical sciences research.
