Yes, 3.12 the way to go. We are already using that version in the test docker. |

Actually let's keep 3.12 for another major change and do what minimally is necessary for fixing this issue for now to get the deployment going. |

This fixes the poetry issue that is blocking us from deploying the API
Was just doing this as a quick fix but maybe we should just update to Python 3.12 while we are at it?
