This project terminates only narrowly validated taskkill.exe helpers and changes the priority of one package-verified Codex parent process. Please treat changes to package identity, process-handle validation, path normalization, scheduled-task registration, or termination scope as security-sensitive.

Do not publish raw Codex logs, prompts, credentials, usernames, private paths, or repository contents in a report.

To report a vulnerability privately, use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting feature for this repository when available. For ordinary bugs and bounded, sanitized reproductions, open a GitHub issue.
