I've been a nerd my whole life.
I started programming around the age of 12. My first programming language was Pascal, followed by Visual Basic 6, PHP 3, C, C++, and many others.
I began my career in 2007 as a Cisco/MikroTik engineer. A couple of years later, I moved into building web applications. Over the past several years, I've worked as a Team Lead and Tech Lead, and today I'm an Engineering Manager.
I love talking about technology, philosophy, and psychology.
I'm lucky to have an amazing wife and two awesome kids. I've also been a musician my entire life, playing guitar and saxophone. I typically play music inspired by virtuosos such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, and similar artists.
I'm the creator of Programmer Network, a community for coding, tech talk, deep dives, and tutorials.
I also built Boring Stack, a simple and pragmatic stack for building modern web applications.
I maintain a K3s Kubernetes guide, where I document my local lab hardware, setup, and practical notes around running Kubernetes at home.
You can find more about my work, projects, and writing on my personal website: aleksandar.xyz.
