I observed that the installation contains some bits that were on purpose not installed using the exe installer: docs/tktcl and others. But did not find a way currently to install Python in the same way. Currently, I removed those folders manually, but would be great to have such an option in case the folder naming scheme changes. Opened an upstream issue here regarding an equivalent of stripped down installation: python/pymanager#330 |
