It seems like you have copies of several of the commits here. Could you remove the copies so that we only have one of each?

The node role masks apt-daily units during the build to avoid apt lock races, but sysprep must restore them so goss and shipped images match the enabled unattended-upgrades configuration.

LGTM! But do we want to create a branch release-v0.1.55 from main and point this PR to that instead?
