Thank you for the PR. I've created #31 as a possible alternative. I think multiple things in this PR we still probably want, but would do immediately after a release that supports all error prone versions that work on Java 11. |

I don't much care how we get there, I just need something that works with Java 17 (at least). |

I had to disable the enforcer checks. Other libraries also need updates possibly?
