This direct bump makes every install pull @babel/core@8.0.1, whose lockfile entry declares engines.node as ^22.18.0 || >=24.11.0, while this package still advertises support for Node >=20. In Node 20 or early Node 22 environments allowed by this repo, npm ci will either fail when engine-strict is enabled or install an unsupported Babel toolchain, so the project is no longer buildable across its documented engine range.
