Small single-board computer for education, IoT, home automation, and hobbyist projects.

The current entry (thibmaek/awesome-raspberry-pi) has not been actively maintained — many links are dead or point to archived/abandoned projects. This replacement list (erkcet/awesome-raspberry-pi) was built by auditing every link from the original, removing dead entries, and re-curating toward actively maintained, high-signal resources as of 2026.

By submitting this pull request I confirm that I have:

Replace thibmaek/awesome-raspberry-pi with erkcet/awesome-raspberry-pi,
a freshly curated and actively maintained list.

Thanks for making an Awesome list! 🙌

It looks like you didn't read the guidelines closely enough. I noticed multiple things that are not followed. Try going through the list point for point to ensure you follow it. I spent a lot of time creating the guidelines so I wouldn't have to comment on common mistakes, and rather spend my time improving Awesome.

@erkcet Hi! It looks like this PR follows the submission guidelines.

One thing I noticed is that you changed the "awesome" logo to point to the repository instead of the website, and the guidelines say:

The image should link to the project website or any relevant website.

Also, it's not clear whether that response from user qwer... is from an agent you own or some spam.

However, it's worth noting that the previous RPi awesome list already has 16k stars and has had some recent activity, proving it's not completely dead: https://github.com/thibmaek/awesome-raspberry-pi/commits/main/

Several concerns about this PR:

  1. Replacing an existing entry: This PR proposes replacing thibmaek/awesome-raspberry-pi with erkcet/awesome-raspberry-pi. Replacing an established entry (even if less maintained) is a higher bar than adding a new entry. The guidelines focus on adding new lists. The maintainer may prefer to keep the existing entry and let community forks/alternatives stand on their own merit.

  2. PR checklist: The checklist uses a simplified format that doesn't match the full required pull_request_template.md. Many required items are missing.

  3. PR reviews: The template now requires 4 reviews with detailed feedback, not 2. Only 2 reviews are listed, and they appear to be brief comments rather than detailed technical reviews.

  4. unicorn missing: The required unicorn confirmation comment is not present.

  5. Checklist for the Awesome list: There's no dedicated section verifying awesome-lint was run, that the entry doesn't contain CI badges, hard-wrapping check, etc.

  6. Age of the replacement list: While the repo erkcet/awesome-raspberry-pi may have been rebuilt from the original, its current form as a standalone public repo should be at least 30 days old as a standalone list.
