This project uses alternative data to analyze economic activity, business dynamics, and spatial inequality in Egypt, including gender inequality. It develops indicators such as nighttime lights, business activity measures, and spatial datasets, alongside a Gender Equality Survey, to support economic analysis for the Egypt Country Memorandum

This project analyzes spatial access to health and education infrastructure across Latin America and the Caribbean. Using population density, facility location, and travel-time data, it identifies underserved populations and supports research on spatial inequality and public service coverage.
